"VIDEOGRAPHY" - by Max Kutuzov - Lead Videographer at ImageSlice Productions

We offer wonderful Video Packages to our clients for many Special Occasions.

For example all day wedding - 1-Videographer price is $1,500 which also includes Professional Video Editing and Special Effects. Another type of package we highly recommend is priced $2,500 wich includes 2 Videographers and covers the all day event. By purchasing the 2 Videographers package your video will be captured from different angles as opposed to when it's 1 Videographer. The videographer can turn the camera 360 degrees to capture the event in full. For example with 2 Wedding Photographer you will get more pictures at your wedding, same with a Videographer you will gain more footage. While wedding speech 1 camera could videotape bride and groom and other wedding speech guest. Another advantage of multiple Cameras at your event is getting better sound quality based on Digital Surround Sound, since more than one camera is recording the sound.

When hiring us for your wedding day, we will capture all of the events such as the Bride getting ready and the groom getting ready at a convenient location to the bride, Ceremony, Park and/or other locations, Cocktail Hour, Reception, Toasts, Guest Interviews, Dances and more Toasts and Interviews, Wedding Garter, and of course the Wedding Cake.

Wedding Day Timings: Every Wedding has its own individual schedule and timings, but generally, our day starts when we arrive at the Brides location at around 11:00 AM. Wedding Photographer and Wedding Videographer will capture the best moments of the Bride getting ready; the bride and her Parents, Maid of Honor, Bridesmaids and other interesting moments such as putting on of the jewelry &garter. After all, these little details are part of a very big day & we want to make sure you remember everything! We try to stay out of your way as much as possible and take the best shots throughout the day. We then move on to the groom. We usually arrive there at about 12:30 PM. Sometimes we go straight to the church, skipping the grooms house altogether. This all depends on your preferences & requests & of course any prior arrangements with our management at Imageslice Productions. For example: If the Ceremony starts at 2:00 PM and ends anywhere between 3:00 PM & 3:30 PM. By 4:00 PM we are in the park or a studio of your choice taking Wedding Pictures and capturing the photo session on Video. If the Cocktail Hour starts at 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM, it is most convenient to send the second Videographer to the reception location to start capturing guests as they arrive during the cocktail hour. From my and Wedding Photographers experience it is very important to introduce myself to the MC / DJ so they keep us in the loop and give us signs when the Bride and Groom are going to be walking into the reception or at wedding speech toast. A Videographer has to be ready at all times, never missing any of the special moments.

Taking Guest Interviews could take up allot of time. From our experience it really depends on the interviewee's wish. Some guests are willing to give an interview for more than a few minutes, which leaves very little time for one Videographer to complete interviews with more than 100 guests. The timing for ,taking interviews, must be perfect, for example we would not approach your guests while they are still eating dinner. We never approach anyone for an interview if they are having a conversation with another guest. We never pressure, we want you & your guests to enjoy your wedding!

We do use Wireless Microphones most of the time and wired microphones are with us at all times for backup purposes. We find that wireless microphones bring advantage to not drag a wire over a dining table and not to cause any spills and inconvenience to you and your guests.

Our Imageslice Videographer is highly briefed and trained to know an exact order of the events which will be performed at your Weddings, Bar-Mitzvahs, Sweet-16 and any other Special Occasions.

Our 2 Camera Package was around $2,700 in 2005, how ever we came to a conclusion it's better for our Clients and Imageslice Productions to lower the price even though the company is not making a huge profit on the 2nd Videographer, only covering expenses. We made this decision in order to achieve the best possible results for your ,wedding video, and to provide our clients with the best price on the 2 Videographer package.

Our editing room - completed with digital effects, transitions and ideas, with editors that have over 6 years of experience in the industry.

We rank the quality of our work very high as do our dedicated & valued clients.
The Imageslice Team is so confident in what we do, that your video will be delivered to your door within 15 to 20 business days after your wedding day if you purchase our rush order plan for $199 for the 1 camera package and $349 for the 2 camera package. For clients with our standard plan we guarantee you will receive your video within 2 to 3 months. We do have a large team of editors wich helps a faster delivery of the final product to your door.

Our Camera Equipment is a Broadcast Certified 3 CCD. All of our Imageslice Video cameras are made by SONY.

Each of our Videographers carry their Backup Equipment, which is another Professional SONY Camera with same capabilities as our primary cameras.

Each of our Videographers also carries lighting equipment with 25w to 100w on camera light and 300w to 700w lamps which we sometimes use to keep the room brighter, however we try to work with the DJ &MC (the Master of Ceremonies) to accommodate your, their, and our needs for light.

Most of our Professionals are working with Imageslice for over 4 years and have over 8 years of experience. Wedding Photographer uses Canon wedding camera for over 8 years. Our Videographers are highly trained and experienced besides being talented in their field, have a very good reputation and they are someone you could trust to do a good job.

If you ask anyone who worked or is working at Imageslice Productions, hired or planning to hire Imageslice Productions for their special occasion, you will only hear positive feedback.

Some of my Wedding Videographer's Points:
Camera Angles - An over the shoulder close-up prepares audience for point of view close up.

Close up camera angle shot picture at the wedding ceremony.

Audience sees each person from opposing person's point of view. I use point of view shots whenever it is desirable to involve the viewer more closely with the event. One of the common place during a wedding is at the ceremony. The over the shoulder shot sets up the relationship between bride and groom and with another camera have the audience shot which will later transition into bride and groom shot.

A camera angle is defined as the area and view point recorded by the lenses. Placement of the camera decides how much area will be included. As a videographer we always remember the relationship between camera angle and audience. Every time the camera is shifted, the audience is repositioning their view which observes the event from a new viewpoint. Also closer and closer shots may be cut shorter and shorter, so that the sequence builds from lengthy long shots to shorter medium shots.

The following factors I keep in mind when I am videotaping the event:

  • Size of the Scene,
  • Camera Angle,
  • Camera Height - also proper height of the tripod,
  • Long shot recordings
  • Short shots recordings
  • Long shot and close-up
  • Camera's safe area viewer
  • Proper use of white balance, iris and other many settings on your camera.
  • Lighting
  • Dual channel digital sound quality with 5 microphone system.

Notice I have mentioned lighting last. Reason is that lighting event though is very important, a professional videographer knows how to operate the camera under any condition even with dark room lighting.

In conclusion, I would like to say that we take our job and Safety Precautions with our equipment very seriously. For example: we would not leave a tripod standing by it self on the dance floor while guests are dancing or while we take wedding speech interview. We would not let the wires, tripods, cameras, bags and all other equipment including lights be left unsupervised. We would not turn suddenly to cause a collide with guests, we would not run or perhaps make moments without looking first.
